BIDENS BLACK JACK

A flowering plant in the aster family that is native to the Americas but it is known widely as an introduced species of other regions, including Asia and the Pacific Islands. This plant is considered a weed in some tropical habitats. However, in some parts of the world it is a source of food or medicine. The bur is widespread by way of its little black seeds that hook onto clothes or horses and thereby spreads itself around.
