Drift® Roses
Drift Roses have the attention of many home gardeners.
The Drift® series has been out for a few years. Recently, it has really caught the attention of many home gardeners that are now planting in smaller spaces.
Like The Knock Out® Family of Roses, Drift® Roses are repeat-bloomers that are tough, disease resistant, zone 4 hardy and virtually maintenance-free. Drift® roses continuously bloom from spring to frost, they are naturally dwarf, with very attractive foliage. Drift® Roses are a cross between groundcover roses and miniature roses. The groundcover parentage gives them their tough disease resistance and winter hardiness, while the miniature features they inherited give them a well-managed size and repeat-blooming nature.
Drift® Roses have a low, spreading habit that reaches 18 to 24 inches tall and 24 to 36 inches wide. They grow and perform best with 6 hours of sunlight and good air circulation. They like a well-drained, moist soil with a PH of 6.5. Once established, occasional deadheading or a light trim during the growing season promotes re-blooming and keeps them tidy. Drift® Roses are very versatile and look great as an edge to a path, or spilling gracefully over an accent wall. They make a wonderful flowering groundcover.
