Have you or your immediate family suffered from a recent hardship or emergency? Do you need financial assistance for things not covered by standard benefits such as medical, short and long term disability insurance, etc.? Willoway's Helping Hand's employee assistance plan may be able to provide some financial relief if you have exhausted other available resources and benefits.

Home Catastrophe/Natural Disaster
Up to $1,000**
Emergency Travel for Associates and/or Immediate Family
Assistance for Willoway employees who incurred the loss of an immediate family member or for WNI employee who must travel to visit or to care for an ill immediate family member or to escort an ill immediate family member to a medical facility.
Up to $750**
Medical Related Hardship
Up to $500**
Personal Emergency / Hardship
For Willoway employee who encountered financial hardships due to unexpected or unavoidable reasons beyond their control (e.g., victim of theft, victim of acts of violence, unexpected loss of income, non-routine vehicle or home repair, etc.).
Up to $250**
*Based on rolling 12-month period. Once an employee receives the maximum of $1,000 in assistance, any future requests granted will be limited to $250 on an annual basis (based on a rolling 12-months

How Do I Apply?
There are a few ways to submit an application:
- Fill out the online form HERE. Follow the instructions, upload any supporting documents, and click the 'submit' button at the end. Spanish version
- Download and print a paper copy in English or Spanish. Fill out the application, print and include any supporting documents. Deliver the completed application to Human Resources, or your manager to be submitted.
- Download and print a paper copy in English or Spanish. Fill out the application, print it and any supporting documents. Scan the printed forms and email them to firstname.lastname@example.org. You will receive an email confirmation if the application is complete.
- Download and electronically fill out the application in English or Spanish. Email the application and any supporting documents to email@example.com. You will receive an email confirmation if the application is complete.
How is Aid Awarded?
Applications are processed on a first come, first served basis. The Helping Hands committee will review completed applications and supporting documents, and will provide a decision to render aid and the total amount awarded within 2 business days. All decisions are final.
If you are awarded aid, Accounts Payable will issue a check (or other form of payment) made payable to the vendor or service provider (e.g., landlord, mortgage company, hospital, utility company, contractor, etc.) performing the service or requesting payment. No payment will be made directly to you (however, exceptions will be considered, and requests to do so must be made in the application along with the reason why).
