Helping Hands Emergency Assistance Program
How You Can Help
The Helping Hands program was developed by employees wishing to help support others in times of crisis, filling the gaps between standard benefit plans and public resources. A committee was developed to help determine how to best support those in need, creating a program funded by employee contributions and charity events hosted throughout the year. How can you support the program and your fellow co-workers when times get tough? Learn how to donate below:
Payroll Deduction
Make a one-time donation, or donate regularly by filling out the payroll deduction form and submitting it to their payroll associate in Human Resources (or through their manager). If you set up re-occurring donations, you may stop or change the amount at any time by submitting a new form or through written notice. Donations made are post-tax*. Payroll Form
Direct Personal Contribution
Make a private donations via cash or check (made out to the Helping Hands Fund). Submissions can be made to your payroll associate in Human Resources or you can Donate Online. Donations may be tax deductible*.
Fundraising Events
Throughout the year the culture team and other groups may operate fundraising events with proceeds donated to the Helping Hands fund. For example, the Easter Basket raffle will donate a portion of the proceeds collected from the sale of tickets and baskets. By participating in the event you can help raise funds for the program, engage with your co-workers, and support the team.
