Outstanding maple known for its durability, adaptability, and multiple seasons of interest. Uniform growing tree more densely branched than most maples, making it an excellent shade tree. Satin-surfaced, medium to dark green leaves are attractive all season, in fall changing to a pale golden hue. Exceptional tolerance to urban pollution, heat, cold, acidic or alkaline soil, and is fairly drought tolerant for a maple once established.
