Evergreen, lanceolate or ovate green to grayish-green leaves are 3/4” to 1” long and form a hardy, mossy mat. Silvery white star-like flowers in spring and summer look almost too big for the plant to handle. Use where its trailing stems are really shown off such as, in wall or rock crevices. Prefers well drained, sandy to sandy loam soils. Plants have a shallow root system and may be damaged by drought.
