PRUNUS FRUIT - METHLEY PLUM

This is a heavy bearing plum that will start to produce fruit in 2-4 growing seasons. The early blossom smells sweet but may be vulnerable to spring frost damage. It is self-fertile but planting two cultivars is recommended. Heat tolerant. The medium to large sized fruit has purple to red skin, round to tapering shape, and flesh that is red, juicy and sweet. Good for eating fresh and making jelly.
