PRUNUS FRUIT - SANTA ROSA JAPANESE PLUM

Small, somewhat rounded canopy plum tree with showy pink-white blossoms in the spring. The fruit is sweet and slightly tart, with yellow flesh (clingstone). The thin skin is purple-red. This variety begins to bear fruit sooner than other plum varieties. Fruit is good for fresh eating or cooking. It is a self-pollinator, but if cross pollinated with other Japanese varieties it will increase crop size.
