PYRUS FRUIT - ASIAN HOSUI

The tree has small white fragrant blooms in spring, with dark green leaves following. In fall leaves will turn red. The Hosui Asian pear is sweet, juicy, round and crisp like an apple. Not a typical pear-shape. The fruit start out pale green and turn a golden, bronze as they ripen.

Self-pollinating, however, another pear with same bloom time may increase fruit production.
