White-pink flowers in late spring turn to medium sized, very firm light blue berries that ripen in very late season, a fall bearing plant in the north. Great ornamental for the flowers, fruit, quality summer foliage, fall leaf color and reddish stems in winter. Native that grows best in acidic, organically rich, medium to wet, well-drained soils.
