Helping Hands Emergency Assistance
Doing The Right Thing is the first and most important value that Willoway Nurseries operates under. That core value applies to more than just our interactions with our customers, it begins with how we support our employees. The Helping Hands program was developed by employees wishing to support others in times of crisis, filling the gaps between standard benefit plans and public resources. A committee was developed to help determine how to best support those in need, creating a program funded by employee contributions and charity events hosted throughout the year.
The Program
Whether it be a home catastrophe, natural disaster, or medial issues, hardships come in many forms. The Helping Hands program has three parts designed to provide support to employees and their immediate family
- A fund that can be used to help pay bills during financial hardships
- A list of resources available to employees and the public that are available anytime
- Ways for employees to donate and participate in supporting the fund and program
The Helping Hands committee is responsible for directing employees in need to the different resources available. Applications made by employees who qualify for financial assistance from the fund are reviewed, and money is awarded based on need and available resources. They also maintain a list of public resources, and manage donations made to fund the program. Please fill out the below form to submit request(s). Email the committee at helpinghands@wwninc.com if you have any questions!
Type of Need
Have you or your immediate family suffered from a recent hardship or emergency? Do you need financial assistance for things not covered by standard benefits such as medical, short and long term disability insurance, etc.? Willoway's Helping Hand's employee assistance plan may be able to provide some financial relief if you have exhausted other available resources and benefits.
