‘Shiro’ is an early-blooming variety with soft pink, fragrant flowers. The fruit is round-to-oval, with deep, yellow skin and flesh. The plums, ripe around August, are medium-size. It is a clingstone plum great for fresh eating or cooking/canning. Though it is self-fertile, a much larger harvest will be seen when another is planted near.¶
