Moongold Apricot is a medium-sized tree that is commonly grown for its edible qualities. It produces gold round fruit (drupes) with a red blush and orange flesh which are usually ready for picking in late summer. The fruits have a sweet taste and a juicy texture. Moongold Apricot is smothered in stunning clusters of fragrant white flowers along the branches in early spring, which emerge from distinctive shell pink flower buds before the leaves. It has green foliage throughout the season. The pointy leaves turn yellow in fall. ¶
